An advocate turned IR/HR Professional, the principal consultant possesses a post graduate degree in Business Administration from BIM –Trichy, with more than 28 years of post-qualification experience and expertise in hard core IR/HR functions with equal expertise in Legal Compliances and General Administration in big business houses like, M/s. MRF, TVS, BINNY, SPIC, Shasun Pharmaceuticals and BGR Energy Systems etc, With thorough experience in handling multi unions, he has handled all type of workers unrest including strikes and consequential lay off and lockouts effectively/legally and averted major strikes through negotiations and implemented various welfare measures to workers.
He has signed more than 100 settlements - both 18(1) and 12(3), with unions besides conducting more than 300 domestic enquiries. He has warded off 2000 and odd employees under VR Schemes. The dismissal, subsequent to the domestic enquiries, were upheld by the Courts.
An expert in drafting HR Policies, Standing Orders, Plaints and Settlements, he was instrumental for certification of standing orders of companies. As a trained counsellor, redeemed many employees from addiction. As an internal faculty, has handled many training programs for the executives.
On legal side, has won scores of disputes between the unions and managements by filing many cases and Writ Petitions and saved Crores for the Managements.
Having served the industry in various positions for more than 28 years, he has signed off with M/s. BGR Energy systems Ltd-a high and voluminous labour oriented concern, on November 2014 as Assistant Vice President – IR (corporate office, Chennai).
